Mayda is a trained nurse and mother of four beautiful children. She was inspired by her mother in laws generosity and resilience as an orphan and as a mother herself to always look for what could be improved for children. Mayda's story is entwined with Jaya's story and route to A levels and university however it was when lockdown in Zimbabwe hit in 2020 that Mayda decided she needed to do more, she needed to help more girls and formalise her support of them in rural Zim. Mayda brings an unwavering vision to the team, her focus and ability to flex plans based on emerging needs is incredible. The team are proud to be led by such a strong and openly vulnerable individual.
